The purpose of the Program is to fund a Sexual Assault Counselor, per Evidence Code ยง1035.2, to act as a Sexual Assault Response Team (SART) Advocate to take a role in the planning and coordinating of SART efforts in their community with the goal of improving the quality of response to, and services for, sexual assault victims/survivors.
