The purpose of the PT Program is to provide in-person or online delivery of specialized training to California’s probation officers. The training must be
victim-centered and focus on enhancing probation officers’ knowledge and skills regarding violence against women. Training must focus specifically on the supervision of probationers convicted of domestic violence, sexual assault, dating violence, and/or stalking.
