Workforce Analysis and Strategies

The EEO office works to provide a diverse and fair working environment. For any position determined to be under-represented, Cal OES will do the following:

  • Review the selection process to ensure applicants are not screened out, based on their gender, race, national origin, color, etc…
  • Enhance outreach efforts to target a more diverse candidate pool.
  • Educate managers about having a diverse interview panel when hiring.
  • Continue analyzing the composition of the interview panels.
