MyPlan

MyPlan is a map service designed to identify California natural hazard data in a simple, easy-to-use interface.  The MyPlan tool allows emergency managers and planners to create custom maps for their Local Hazard Mitigation Plan (LHMP). These maps can also be used in applying for federal grants.

To use the tool, browse your area of interest or use the search box to locate an address, city, or other feature.  Hazards can be selected using the menu on the right.  Natural hazards include earthquake, flood, fire, and tsunami.  Within the tool, users can specify views, opacity, and layering order.  The custom map can be printed or exported.

The data is sourced from state and federal government agencies. MyPlan is a collaborative effort between Cal OES, the California Natural Resources Agency, and FEMA.
